Are there any progress in the MX release?
I definately need a waterproof speedo, or two for my buggies. The QC2 and DomEvo are far out of the picture, and the Cirrus don't seem too reliable either. Then the MRT speedos are the only option, not a bad option at all........

I believe testing for the MX is still progressing well with great results and I know the production model will be well worth the wait..

Keep you eyes on the team-mrt.com website for more information when it becomes available.

I will be running a pre-production version at this weekends 1/12 Euros

So how do these speedos match up to the VFS-1?

The MX isnīt released yet. From what I know itīs in the final stage before production. Also there will be different versions. According to specs the best one will be superior to anything available currently. Canīt go more into details. You have to ask Terry.

As Erlend says if you want a waterproof speedo that is waterproof and proven reliable your choice of ESC is somewhat limited.

The soon to be released MX controllers will be following on from our current VX ESC's but being a totally new design they incorporate unique new features, the latest top spec SM FETs and they are also smaller and lighter and of course are fully waterproof.

As it's never possible to please all the racers all the time, we've tried to offer what most racers have asked us for, namely:

simple to set up yet sophisticated in operation.

a few profiles covering all race classes, ie 27t, 19t, Mod etc.

small, lightweight and waterproof.

ultra low on-resistance FETs, even on the low end versions.

There are a few other design features we're keeping quiet about!

As to matching up to the VFS-1, the VFS-1 will have to match up to the MX!! V12 is correct when he uses the word 'superior', we are confident the new MX range of speed controllers will impress... we'll let you decide!

As Ian says keep your eyes on the team-mrt.com website. Better still, sign up for the pre-release discount offer/news updates before the launch.

My LHS is stocking MRT speedos soon, so i will get one VX first, and a MX when it is released.

Yep, big ESC producers don't exactly base their sales on waterproof speedos. And the QC2/D-Evo is proven un-reliable, at least when it gets really wet...

Is the G11 their new ESC? It seems to be another G10 updated version(s) renamed the G11. Is the new ESC that you mention another one? a G12 maybe? I admit we've not hurried but then our new MX is totally new and we want it to be 100% ok before release. It seems to have taken quite a while for Tekin to release a new 'revised' ESC if it was due out in January.

Hi Ed, the MX (MX Pro) is due out anytime. If you've signed up you will receive another update informing you of the specs and details etc. As the MX is totally new and has many innovative features we're keeping the exact details and specs quiet until the release to keep the competition in the dark and at a disadvantage!

Mr Jolly, Colin we'll have the MX Pro to 'view only' at the BTCC at Barham this weekend... not long for you to wait now honest!! (see below re team drivers)

We're currently sorting out the first limited supply that we have available and we will be working through our orders asap. The MRT team drivers will be amongst the first to get hold of them, and once in full production meeting demand shouldn't (hopefully!) be a problem.

Oh yes and then there's the price... Ģ/$POA (cheaper than you'd think!)
