Bob
No switch means there is no switch. As soon as you connect the MX to the battery itīs switched on automatically. But the switch on the MX is very small and high quality so I would go with a switch.

Regarding the Nosram I had one in the past. Not bad and easy to programm but I expected a little more for that money. The MRT is even easier to program, smoother, smaller and cheaper. And what may be also very important in the UK, the MX is really waterproof.
And one nice feature. If you choose the Custom version you will have a choice for the case colour matching your car/ aluminium parts.

I was using the MX now just for one race without track testing before and the Nosram was sold some time ago so itīs difficult comparing performance. But putting down the fastest laptime in the A-Main in the first race will say enough I think.

Bob
No problem.
If you look at the pictures above you can see I have my switch on the ESC, just attached to the side.
Doublesided tape works very good!

Is there any news on when the MX Worlds edition will be out? I've decided to hold onto my VX Pro until then...

I think only Terry will know that. But from what I found the MX Pro is much better than the VX. Donīt know if it really makes sense waiting for a Worlds Edition.
The onresistance/voltagedrop will be even better but donīt think that there will be much other difference.

just as a question has anyone who uses the mrt mx now used a nosram dominator evo befor?? and can u tell a difference in peformace in the mrt mx thanks
Hi Bob, glad you like the MX Pro. I think V12 has answered your question, with no switch it means there's no on/off switch on a lead when you plug the MX in to your battery it turns it on, and it's turned off when you unplug it!

I'll leave someone who's used a Nosram Dominator Evo to give their verdict, but as far as the performance specs go read my next post!

And Bob yes you just use the link on the e-mail to order one!!

Skill it's likely to be a while before we bring out the MX Worlds (& MX Team) as V12 says the MX Pro is better than the VX Pro, but then the VX Pro is still very good!! Compare the MX Pro on-resistance specs against the VX and the other manufacturers top ESC specs:

MRT MX Pro........... 0.00025 Ohms SRP Ģ99.50

MRT VX Sport......... 0.00065 Ohms SRP Ģ96.50
MRT VX Pro........... 0.000375 Ohms SRP Ģ144.50
Tekin G-10 Pro+...... 0.0004 Ohms
Tekin G-11 Pro....... 0.0003 Ohms
Novak GTX............ 0.00034 Ohms
GM SX12W............. 0.00025 Ohms
Keyence Rapida Pro... 0.00023 Ohms (better than MX Pro but Ģ189.99 in UK!)

MX Worlds will be.... 0.00012 Ohms approx. (about half the resistance of the best above!)
Novak GTB............ 0.00013 Ohms [brushed mode] (but big size & weight)

The MRT VX/MX are 100% waterproof, apart from the GM SX12W and GTB the other ESC's are not waterproof.

V12, thanks for the photos and your answers. I'm glad you like your MX Pro and it's going even better than your VX Pro. I think the people are now seeing how good the MX Pro is compared to the other speedos, and for under Ģ100 in the UK!! (US price without UK VAT is approx $156)

From what I have seen on MRTīs website there is no distributor in the US until now. But you can order directly from them.
