All the Kyosho motors of that era were marked LeMans.

you guys are absolutely right the old kyosho motors almoat all said lemans on them and all of them I had had kyoshos name on the label also I don't remember seeing any gold colored cans back them all of them I had where the black can usually with a gold or silver label. I'll see if Ican find them some where also and get some pics they've been packed away in boxes for years ahh the days of the 1200 series batteries and back then we used to run 5 minutes heats and mains gosh some of the guys wouldn't know how to act if we still had to run them.

Tornado spot on there. Yes it from Nikko. Got it from a friend who only runs around his living room.
Still in good running condition. Have try running a number of times, has a good torque though but can't compare with today's motor having the same number of turns.
To know that it kinda old, no wonder I could not search for the spec from the internet.
So the motor will end up in my display cabinet.

Nikko tried to launch into the international racing scene with their Super Sprint belt driven back then and they also came out with carbon fibre chassis conversion kit in replacement of the original plastic bathtub chassis. How do I know all these....... Nikko had a works team in Singapore and Malaysia back then and I was one of the member on the Malaysian side for a short while. Thats is why that motor looked kinda familiar.....we're using Nikko's works motor and not that one...we sorta chuck that one a side a rolled in our tool box..

I dunno what happened to Nikko Team after that....I tot I'll never see this car again......but ...well....its collectors' item now.

Cool guys.

We are here to share some old motor that has been lost in the storeroom. I would like to see those motors that are once the conquerer of the track back in those years and analyse the leap and bounce technology has on our current crop of competitive motors.
Any idea do we have brushless motor back then?

Regards
