I can live with that. He has his reasons for doing that. Plus I guess most Pro's never take a car straight. For them the research never ends. And there is always so much more put into the build than just putting it together. I think I will go back and edit my earlier post.

What about a web based magazine? I've seen it done before and in the RC world it would make a WHOLE lot of sense. Include videos of the top races. GIFs showing how suspension geometry works. Even allow adds from manufacturers to have some add space. it wouldn't have a paper limit...

I'm getting this idea from a computer magazine that was web based. it rocked because it was all about overclocking!

The site is alive and well. I've been keeping it updated with information from major races in the US the entire year. It's a pain in the ass, though, nagging people for info.

Well... if anyone can be a pain in the ass, it's you. Keep up the good work.

True enough. I'm trying to find ways to give back.

Like Syndr0me said, it's a pain the ass to get info. He had to stalk and beg the drivers for the info.

That makes no sense that sponsored drivers wouldn't give this info freely to promote that exact company that sponsors them for this exact reason. Word of mouth advertising!

Races like the Snowbirds or larger events should make it mandatory for drivers in at least the A-Main to fill the sheet out or forfeit the race. These companies pay Snowbirds, etc. a lot of money to advertise with them. Only makes sense these companies would require this type of thing...

It's unfortunate, because it's great info. But it was a difficult, thankless task trying to get info for a lot of the classes. You'd think people would want to credit their sponsors.

That said, I think I'm gonna give it another shot for IIC this year. We'll see how it goes.
