Ko Propo VFS-1 ESC

I just ordered one of these speedos. Am I going to be less than impressed until I get the ability to program it myself?

can anyone let me know what is/are the difference(s) between the vfs1 and the vfs2??

From what I have seen on the KO website the VFS-2 is a budget version of the VFS-1 as there are less FETs in use.

Hello,
I raced this weekend and the track temp was almost 60°C. Me and a lot of my friends experienced troubles with the VFS1. After 4 minutes the esc cutoff because overheating. I've a 415, we run 12T motors. My esc is not too close to the motor. How can I avoid this problem. Does a heatsink exist foe this esc? Have I got to change the program? Or put a fan?

Ko Propo has addressed this issue by making the VFS-1 Competition edition. it has a higher temperature cut off and a trick carbon case.

Thanks for the answer, when will the competition edition be available?

I have a very similar Q to that...
Over the weekend I was running my VSF-1 on a large outdoor track with a 7 single and about 3-4 minutes into the run I lost power to the motor, if i stopped for a lap or so it would come back. So I am assuming I was just getting the speedo too hot? I figured the KO would catch fire before it would have a thermal shutdown but i guess not???
