You would have to contact Hara Racing Products for that. I don't know when they will be released.

Default New VFS-1 in Action

saw the new VFS-1 in action last night.. man thats a nice speedo! Robert TQ'ed stock at socal im not sure about second qualifying.

but i was browsing his laptop and saw the new VFS software. TONS of new features. too many to name. the coolest one he pointed out was the ability to combine different profiles into one file. kinda like adding "new sheets" in excel and having one workbook.

definitely something to pick up!

Ko Staff.....When do you expect to have your first shipment of VSF-1's instock? And will you have them for sale with the hand held programer at the same time. I see you guys are offering them for a great pre-order price on you web site and I was thinking about placing one on order and want to know just how long I will have to wait. Also if my LHS wants to order these when will they be at places like Horizon or can they contact you guys in Cali and get them faster?

We expect the VFS-1 in late next week or the following week. They will be offered as a set with the multi setting adapter and by it self.

Pre-orders will be shipped out within three days of arriving here in the US.

Horizon has not yet placed an order for them, so it is no telling how long it will be for them to have them. If your LHS want to order them dircet, have them give us a call.

The final version of the software is downloadable from the Japan site but it is in Japanese. Once we receive the VFS-1 here in the US, I can release the free download of the English version.

Default Diff between J and Pro

A friend of mine in Japan said the main diffrence between the J and the pro is that the J version saves power for your steering when battery level becomes low what will be the advantage of this over the Pro? I guess it dont matter if your racing stock class.

Other than that he said that most of features are the same.

The two are the same. The J version comes pre-wired with 15GA wire and the BEC level set at 3.5V. The Pro version comes with 12GA wire not wired and the BEC level set at 2.5V. The BEC level voltage can be set from 2.5-4.0V in both versions. Just the factory settings are different, but they are the same.

I just got a VFS 1, but the instructions are in japanese. Ive pretty much figured how to set it up, but what im wondering is if i have to use the supplied capacitor. Im using this for 1/12 and its a little big so id rather not use it

The instructions state "Please use the Ultimate Super Shotki Diode and Ultimate Condenser (power cap). Damage may occur if they are not used"

I ran mine at the UK KO race without the power cap in 19t and it was fine but I will be putting the power cap on just to be safe!
