Yes you can use the Novak diode and it works well, however the resistance on the KO diode is slightly better - slightly

I read through seven pages and decided that was way too much reading for me. I am looking for a good set-up for 1/12 stock. I went to the KO web page and they don't have one yet. I was running a LRP and I like the feel better, but I would rather run the KO. Any help would be great.

Mcsquish

Here is the 1/12 scale setup I've been using for stock. If you have runtime issue which I don't think you will, increase the frequency numbers in the last 6 stages of the profile.

Please do me a favor and let us know what you think. It's important so that we can fine tune some of these profiles and make them available.

Hope this helps,
Mark

Chris,

The track size is 96x52. The straightaway is around 80 feet and the track is technical.

The picture above is an older layout but the back straightaway is about the same.

Mcsquish,

Looks like Robert updated the web page and has posted my 1/12 scale profile for a technical track layout. He has also posted a Highspeed layout that someone has recommended.

Here is the link for VFS-1 Profiles.

Mark i have two new profiles for you... from the looks of the track you race at... the straight is not long enough to be using "24". how's the top end on your car? i modified the last 16 stages. this should give you more rip if you come off half way on your throttle. i see lots of turns where u can left off. just not sure how much?

Chris,

The top end is pretty good, but I'm always up for trying something different. I'm going to the track Friday to do some more testing so I'll try it out and let you know.

Nothing came through on the PM. Try again.

Thanks for all the support.

Chris - Feel free to send them my way. I have the Region 2 race this weekend in PA, so I'll let you know which combo/profile worked best.

Don't forget to send me the need for speed profile.
