What days are you going to be there? Are you going to have any equipment with you? I may need to have the wire that goes to my receiver on a 2000 replaced and that would be super convienient.

Ooj - The default drive setting on the VFS-1 is as follows
All steps (1-32) are using 3.98kHz (Freq. no. 36)
Neutral Brake - Off
Brake Frequency - 3.45 kHz (Freq. no. 32)
Power Save - 2.5v
Throttle Response - Off
Current Limiter - 220

For what kind of what is this profile is applicable, I think I am not good enough to tell. Would other experts give some advice?

Hi, just a quickie, can the setting adaptor form the VFS-2000 be used in conjunction with the VFS-1? Sorry if this has been asked before, but it is only a one word answer. Thanks. Jonathan

Nope, you need a new adapter, but there's a value pack with the speedo and the programmer. One of the nice things about the new programmer is that it will also program KO's servos and the Helios if you get the additional programming cards.

I will be arriving on Saturday night. I'll be at the show on Sunday. Now why would I bring repair equipment to a trade show?

its a very "safe, conservative" profile in my opinion. should work well in all applications. try it out first.. then start lowering the first 10 stages or so ..then you'll notice more punch/rip. then just start adjusting from there.

Hi everybody. I am planning to get a new ESC. Should I go for VFS-1 or GTX ? I read some posts before and say VFS-1 is not as PUNCHY as those Q2, GTX..... Is that true? Or it simply due to wrong frequency curve setting? Please advise. Thank you very much.

VFS-1 for sure!! Plenty of punch and very easy to adjust. Plus it has tons of adjustments that other speedo's dont. Light weight and great service from them as well!! I thought the VFS-2000's were good...but the new one is even better!!!

I am going to install KO VFS-1 to my 1/12 team associated car. Is there anyone can give me a setup data for my ESC? Here's abit more about my car setup:

6 cells
12 turns motor
100/24 gearing

Thank you very much!

yeah u are right, totally like a mini roket and I never have to worry about those 1:10 nitro touring cars .... I used to have Quantum ESC installed on my 1:12

Now, I am looking for a startup setting for VFS-1

Any idea?

discus.. please visit the kopropo site and look up the 12th scale profiles for both masami hirosaki and atsushi hara... they have a couple of profiles up there. it should help you get started in the right direction.

Default VFS-1 Frequency Comparison Sheet

here's a pdf file of all the frequencies for the VFS-1 and VFS2000.

it'll help in converting an old VFS-2000 profile into a VFS-1 profile. just cross reference the frequencies.
