Does BMC V1.52 have a better setup than BMC Stock Manager for modified motors?

hi there,
it is a whole year since last post.
I can't believe if anyone crazy like me still buy this esc new.
but in recent we run brushed formula every Sunday morning at a free track in Hong Kong, typically white pig.
I m crazy enough that also bought the ics link. so I will test the profile in coming weeks.

I am still running a VFS-1 also. I am glad I am not the only one!
It is still a very good esc for brushed motors.

I'm running VFS-1 C3 for Tamiya TCS races in the USA where the class runs on stock mabuchi motor.
This is still one of the best brushed ESC available on the market.
About the VFS Manager 2.4, I think it's only available in Japanese and the Voltage Cutoff mode can be set highest at 6.0V, but this is still too low for lipo cutoff, in my opinion. Lipo should never be allowed to go near 6.0V or irreversible damage will be done. And to activate the 6.0V cutoff, the lipo has to drop below 6.0V, which is not good for the battery.
Ideally, I wish KO PROPO can release VFS Manager 2.5 in English with the cutoff at 6.4V instead of 6.0V.

Looks that KO quite care what we say here.

Hi Lcvwing,
I have not had any experience with F104.
I have been running a TB EVO V with 19T brushed motor.
Still running old Eastpower 4600mah packs.
If there is a Lipo cutoff that can be introduced into the VFS-1 (I do not have the c3 version) then I would definitely upgrade to Lipo.
I am not using Lipo yet because I have no money to upgrade the ESC and the batteries at the same time. This would definitely solve all my problems.
I think eComet's comment is very insightful, but I am wondering is the effect on the batteries very serious and damaging?

I have tested the hebiki stock profile start at 5, top at 1 and end at 33.
For my F104 with formula tuned 32T motor, to my surprise it is not as fast as the original profile. I will test more profiles in coming weeks.
I did not save the original profile of volac ms c3. Wonder if any one can send to me.
