hey guys, i just ordered one, but i have a question. how does it perform with a stock motor, without a change of the FETs? Does it wear the comm and brushes faster? Also, what is the difference between the new model and the older one? I saw the hara twister 2.3, and it looks exactly the same to me, suprised that they didnt wait for the brushless.

Karl, it wont work as well. Hara's profile is for mod. In 19T it'll feel very soft. If you want the other end of the spectrum (something very aggressive), check out the profile that was quoted above.

Can anybody explain to me why KO's VFS-1 setup profiles don't follow the options given on the setup master?

Like why do they list frequencies 0-31, when the multi-setting adapter labels them 1-32. And why is Zero shown as the lowest setting, when 1 is the lowest setting possible on the multi-setting adapter. It's kinda annoying. Do you guys think I just follow the setup listed above for stock tight-track TC racing, or this one found on KO's website (Trinity CO27 Pro):

FREQ0=0
FREQ1=1
FREQ2=2
FREQ3=2
FREQ4=3
FREQ5=4
FREQ6=5
FREQ7=6

Computers start counting from zero, so zero is the first value it looks for. People start counting with 1, so it's the first value we typically recognize. Somewhere in between one would have thought there'd have been an interface that translated our "one" input mode to the computer's "zero", but here we are...

Default Trouble with KO and Hot Bodies

I ended up buying 2 Twister 2.2 not becuse i wanted to but cause they both quit working. I have had them for a mere four months! The first stopped after 2 and the other after 1! I contacted both KO and Hot Bodies, KO told me to go to HB and HB basically told me to take a hike! HB said they must have been set up wrong, but if you think about it how the heck were they running fine for awhile if they were set up wrong?

I can't believe that both companies will not give me a straight answer. I hope they realiz that it is totally possible that there could have been a defect. There wasn't any smoke or anything so what else could it be?! Anyone else have this issue or something similar? What have you done about it? I know one thing there is no way i'm throwing away 400 dollars! I want these looked at and repaired at their expense. C'mon KO and HB stand behind your product!
