Hi all, I have a VFS-2000J esc but I have never bother changing the drive frequency....I noticed the punch level is very low since the 1st day i bought it....maybe its coz of my batteries but can I know how much is the setting equipment???

There's setting adaptor, pc interface and bla bla bla....what do I need actually??? Is there any cable I can connect straight to my laptop without buying all those fancy setting adaptor and so on????

Sorry for the silly question....

Thanks Ya`All
I think using 5A with 540 is acceptable because I am using too, then I saw as well as somebody didn't put nothing in his Volac but is too risky so I never recommend to do the same. I don't know how about stock or 19 spec it depends the track size, maybe MM 12A PCB could try if could find, but the most safety is using the genuine one on these 2 kind of races.
You could take a look from here:

Hiya,

Interesting how the speed control gets hot just soldering the cables on, i use a 50w soldering iron, and have in on the post just for 2 seconds to solder the wire, must be really a good conductor , or the 12GA wire conducts heat alot more, and makes the FET's hot while soldering.

When soldering wires, give ample time for the next wire to be soldered.. heat can damage the esc so bad.

Tin everything that needs to be soldered so that you wont need to put your iron on the tabs that long.. hth's

Hey guys I need a little help.

I have a VSF-1 Prof. and I need to set it up in my 2wd buggy. I went to the KO Propo site and I can not get the manual page to open for this speedo. Can some one help me set it up to my Helios. I did notice the little black button on the side of the on-off switch.

Also I'll be running stock and mod 2wd buggy. Will I need to change the settings each time I run the two classes or is there one setting that will work good for both?

Many Thanks

Regards,
Eric

Red-Line,
Are you trying to do basic setup, or program a profile?

Basic set-up:
1)turn radio on
2)hold little button down on speedo
3)turn on speedo and release little button right away (light should now be flashing.)
4)move throttle to neutral and push little button (light should flash two short pulses now)
5)move throttle to full and push little button (light should now flash in three short pulses)
6)move throttle to full brake and push little button.
7)turn off speedo and radio, you are done.

If you are programing a profile, you need the handheld device or pc software/cable.
