A throttle response of 1 would make the input (moving the throttle trigger) more aggressive. A setting of 9 would make it less aggressive.

This is only true for the VFS-1 Pro VFS-2 and Competition, not the C2.

I am sorry... (i am away from my car for the next few months)... so i am asking questions that can be answered by experiments... so with the throttle response "off" will make throttle input most aggressive?

does it change it for the whole throttle band?

if it applies to the whole throttle band...
would i still get max throttle with soft throttle response? (i am sure i will... but will there be a sudden "jerk" when reaching the end of the throttle...? i mean since the response is "soft"...)

am i making sense ko propo staff?

rcnewb2004-
With the throttle response "off" the throttle stays linear.

With a change to the response, it is only the initial reaction as you tell the esc to move forward.

So throttle response of "1" make the car feel "punchy" --> "linear"?

Where is the best place to mount the KO super diode? ESC or motor endbell? The diode will always get very hot by heat generated from the motor. I m thinking of getting it to the ESC side.

Good advise please.

it doesn't matter where you put the diode really... i think it is recommended by ko that the diode be put near the motor, but honestly..... i don't see how 6cm away from the motor will cause you to lose a race or something

Hey Guys!! Need some help.
I have a Tamiya TRF 2002 ESC by KO Propo, but am wondering if it is a vfs series & what version esc this is?

Does it have temp cutoff & throttle respond setting?
Where can I find the spec?

Thanks.

Hi KO PROPO staff,

Appreciate if you can help to verify my enquries.
Recently I bought a used Tamiya TRF 2002 ESC by KO Propo, but am wondering if it is a vfs1 series & what version esc this is?

Does it have temp cutoff?
Where can I find the spec?

I had try to borrow a hand held adaptor & try to change the freq but it is not possible. I heard that there is different version of hand held adaptor, & which version should I use?

Thanks in advance.

engtat is right. its the first generation VFS esc. the vfs-2000. there is no throttle response setting in this esc.

it's still a very good esc to use in stock (27T) and 19T racing.

Has anyone tried a VFS 1 with 5 cell (I guess more likely to be Europeans)??

I tried it today, and it was ok to start, but as the run went on it starts to stutter under power. I think it's a BEC volt drop problem - but not really sure what i can do about it, apart from run a rx pack. I tried a small capacitor on the BEC circuit (470uF), no difference.

I'm running it with a 302 RX and 2413 servo.
