i have a question for all racers out there

i use a

yokomo BD,
ko 2343 servo,
ko VFS-1,
spektum radio system,
silver can 540 Johnson motor,
sanyo 1300 scr batteries (best punch, limited to 1500Mah for this class)

i have to use 120grms of weight to get to the 1500 weight limit

the question i have is that, instead of using weights to get to the weight limit, if i used a reciver battery pack for xtra weight would that

a. what problems could i run into with the speed control,

any ideas would be cool

You would have no problems as long as you pull the RED wire going from the esc to the receiver. Make sure to insulate the RED pin. DO NOT cut the wire because you will need to insert it again to program the esc.

Hi Robert

Now you said this to me also. I removed the red wire from the plug and taped it back on itself.

I programme with the handset and I have found that i DO NOT have to reconnect the +ve.... are you sure you have this right?

Cheers

Mark
