Its a funny thing butbhaving driven on high grip asphalt I found you really need thevflex for consistency.

black line does not always mean grip. could mean that everybody is throwing prep on soft tires, creating a black line.

How about a 'black-groove' then?

On another note 'SpareParts' was a moniker of mine, LOL

Follow instructions and go from there... Its not a bad thing to start from kit.

I started out with this car same as my previous few with 2 kits, so I have a good stack of spares not mentioning a few option parts I have as well. Currently they consume 3 small plastic boxes not including two spare lower decks.

Ditto.... Worst thing that has happened is heatshrink failing when I first put the car together... but that was simply a case of a trick that doesn't work with this car.

My brother on the other hand has had a few problems but also tends to give his car more bumps than the usual off road car would cop so I expect a few things to go wrong.

The core design was always going to offer that even before it hit the track. What we need now is another batch of option parts. I am keen for a replacement to the steering rack to offer spacing for ackerman adjustment. That will yield better performance again.
