How exactly did you modify the arms? It looks like you could simply Dremel the webbing so that the caster block fits but I think this may allow the arm to flex too much. I have all of the parts to do this, but it would be bad to have super-flexible arms at my home track given how high the traction is. However, running only 2* or so of static rear toe may offset the slight increase in flex.

If you have pics, I'd like to see what you've done

Yes, cut out some webbing and a small relief for proper clearance. I used a set of the older medium arms just to mock it all up. Not sure what the flex characteristic of them are but it seems the durability is there as I hit a few things running this setup and broke nothing so far.

+1 on pictures please.

Johnny, I think the castor in the rear will have a bigger effect on your wheel base then it will on anything else.

Default RRS Pics

Here are some pics of the RRS.

As best as I can tell the wheelbase did not change either, maybe 0.5mm if that. The other reason I did the mod to the rear arms was so I could swap out the RRS for normal rear uprights without having to change the arms.

Default A few other mods.

The first pic is showing the idler pulley bearing holder with 1mm taken off the top, done on both sides, just to get everything from touching the top deck.

Pics 2 and 3 show a tapped hole I put into the steering servo holder, with a spacer and drilling a hole into the top deck I get a front standoff option for more adjustments.

Pic 4 shows how the motor mount leg has to be cut to work with the V3 motor mount. Still allows top deck secured to the standoff, but gives you full access to the motor screws for those big pinions.

Exactly how mine is looking.

Can someone who has a new and old kit measure the bulk heads and tell me if there is much difference in the new parts? Whether the diffs sit higher or lower in the new bulks is my main query. Also if the new spur gear holders are different to the old ones. I'm converting a 2.0 with the new chassis and motor mount only. My spur holders are fouling the top deck I have one that was modified that doesn't foul the deck. Time to call up a favour with my Dremel owning buddy.

I've heard some complain about the spur holders. What is exactly the problem?
