Great looking car. Seems they have really provided everything in the kit as standard. Only thing i could find that the kit doesn't include is battery stoppers?

They still haven't addressed the issue about using smooth bottomed hardcased lipos like the Orion or Peak.

Only battery I know that is available to me that will work is the LRP because theirs have the battery bumps on the bottom.

I don't see any issues with what they did. If you like the security of locking tabs and you have a flat bottomed lipo then just cut some small squared shapes out of lexan and tape them to the bottom of the lipo with thin double sided tape. I did this with my 1/12th scale chassis when it still had cell slots, worked great and looked fine too.

Personally I feel that you can do nothing and it will still work fine, I am going to try this before taping anything to my lipos that are flat bottomed SpeedZone packs.

If they did not have those holes in the chassis then people would complain about not being able to use their lipos that have bumps so what can you do.

By adressing the flat bottom LiPo issue do you mean there are no stoppers?

there is no problem, just make your own locators out of small bits of carbon or similar, then glue them to the bottom. Far better than having some heavy braces on the car, IMO.
I've never liked the "hooks", look ugly, and there is much better solutions out there.

They got rid of the servo saver. Also, anyone understands why they seem to use blades at the rear but not at the front ?

And, does anyone know if a ball diff will be offered as an option?

The instructions do show a ball diff and it has part numbers too. It looks like your normal ball diff but I did not look to see if the parts used are the same as the S400 diffs. I just have not had the time, but the manual is a good read.

Default S411 ORDERS FULFILLED

We the appeal has been so good first pre orders have sold out!

Just as an indication the popularity of this chassis might be as welcomed as the T3 and TC6 when released.

Driven by the inclusion of a gear diff and alloy shocks as standard has made this a great introduction of a new/updated car for Serpent.

When we had the opportunity to see the pre release prototype at out toyfair and if Serpent stays close with the quality as shown, this will make this a great car for all. Price as well has been kept resonable and affordable making this a chassis in reach of all established and new drivers looking at a choice chassis to go to.

Parts and parts listing will be up on our site as soon as possible with most of the common bits kept in stock.

All information and updates will be advised via RCTECH and our site for all drivers if the S411.

Cheers

Ren
