Default 3PK antenna help

Please help, my 3PK antenna won't stay in. It is loose even though it is screw in all the way.

I know that there is a screw inside the 3PK that hold the antenna, I have try to open the 3PK but I could not take out the screen. I have taken out all of the screw already but the screen still won't come out and this is stoping me from opening it !!

Does anyone know how to tighten the screw in the 3PK or know how to open the 3PK.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Cheers,

Try holding the transmitter upside down whilst screwing in the aerial, pulling down on the aerial as you screw it in too. Hopefully this will make the screw grip a bit on the plastic inside so you can get it tighter.

I've had that problem before too.

Unfortunately, the threaded insert is crimped on to the bottom of the antena. When the crimp loosens, the antenna just spins and spins, but it won't loosen or tighten the screw.

You do need to disassemble the 3PK to get to the screw. I was able to do it by removing all the screws and taking off all of the plastic panels. The tricky part is popping off the screen. It does pop out. Just use a small screw driver and pry it out a little at a time. Once the sceen if off, the whole thing comes apart.
