I just heard back from Novak tech support, there has to be a 5600uf Capacitor used with the GTX and they highly recommend using an External Diode as close to the motor as possible.

Stock profile

Was wondering what profile everyone is using, I have been running it on 3, thought about switching to 2, car just doesn't seem to have any rip.

Just looking for what everyone is running it on.

By the way this is for stock touring car.

for stock 27 i was usually using profile #1 or #2
for 19T was using #3 but i'm gonna try out #6

Just use the #1 profile it's good all around on both 19T and stock. But then again I switch to brushless.

Spanky, I would advise you to run the diode. I can tell you first hand without it, I'm pretty sure the back voltage when braking is causing a lot of extra heat, enough that components will start falling off the circuit board. Cost me a speed control, a servo, set of rear tires, a motor and one really tweaked car.

I was wondering if anyone had a good setup for the GTX when using a 27-turn motor like the Trinity Monster CO27 Pro? Is there a good custom one someone has done, or what is a good programmed setting?

Try profile #2 Drew. Or whichever one is more sensative than stock.

Run profile #1 in stock or 19t, and profile #3 (default) for mod.

You wont notice much difference between just 1 profile most likely on the GTX, but you should feel a little more punch on profile 1.
