Anyone getting anxious yet?

Adam- Well, the profiles in the GT7 were not really "For" what they were named. In the end, we preffered to use GT7 profile 6 for all stock applications, and Profile 5 for most mod applications. Be it 4 cell or 6. The GTX will have similar profiles available, and addictionaly tune-ability. Personally, I think the 7th profile's customizing is pretty strait forward and easy to use once you understand how it works. The Defaulty Profile of the GTX will work great for most Medium to High traction Mod Applications.

Charlie...........I heard you are with NOVAK and I have several friends strongly recommand you about customer service, so here I go, I have very interested question for you........
I was electric racer when I first started racing back in 80s, then go to college and dropped out RC, came back and race NITRO....now race nitro and elect...
I currently still own a NOVAK 4 ESC and a NOVAK T1R (I think)....both are good 10-14 years old....still working.
Can I send in both ESC and do a UPGRADE for something like GT4 or GTX with a fee?
Thanks.....

You guys should email stuff like that. We don't want to "Jack" the thread from anyone or the subject.
More then likely we'll be at the champs.
We won't offer GTX New Item Exchanges for a while. You can find our current service exchanges listed in the Customer Service Section of our website. Older items only qualify for the New Item Exchanges.
Thanks

Hey Butler,
The Holoween race is in October, and I'm out of town for 2 of it's 4 weeks for the Chicago Hobby Show, and then the Worlds. Unfortunately we won't make the Holoween race. Again, would have been a better email.
Thanks
Charlie
Any other GTX Questions, other they , when and how much???

What type and number of transistors are used in the GTX? I know numbers don't always mean alot, but I (along with everyone on this thread) noticed this ESC has the lowest current rating of any of Novak's previous racing controllers. Are the numbers listed for actual continuous current? Thanks for any replies!

Charlie,
Back in the nineties and earier, speed control companys were hell bent on getting the lowest on-resistance possible. When I try and decide which speed control I want to buy this is very important. At the moment there is the Keyence Rapida Pro which is very similar to the GTX but has a better on-resistance. I have run the GT7 for a while and do really like it. Why would I choose a novak GTX over the Keyence speedo? The way I see it theres no point in spending money on really high voltage batteries if you arent going to use the best possible speedo to support these. I do realise your speed controls are top quality and they have done extremely well in big events.
