Try asking the manufacturer themselves :

I have one and use it to change NiMh cells. The problem with most NiCad chargers is that the Delta Peak is too high for NiMh cells. However this CE has it's delta fixed at 40mV, and this should be ok for GP's.

No there is no fix to lower the delta peak, as per what I was told by CE. But like was previously stated, the peak drop it 40mv, and thats what I use on all my packs unless its really hot out. Its a good secondary charger.

I had to stop using mine though, as it get hot halfway through each charge and then shuts off. Only fix is to use a fan, but I have yet to find a way to do it so it looks good.
