Default Need help with preparing my Xray chassis before build up

Hi guys,

I just received my Factory Kit, id like to buld it within the next week but id like some advice on how to sand/file the edges before i build the car.

I know i have to file back the edges and battery slots and also seal it with CA glue, but what should i use?

Should i use a file, sandpaper, wet/dry sandpaper?

Also anything else you fell i should know please shoot away

Cheers Dave

I used a file once but it was really slow.

The best thing is a dremel with a cone shaped stone with a small pointed tip for getting into the corners. It worked great and each side of each slot only took about 5 -10 seconds.

I didn't do any sanding or filling on mine. I just used a q tip, put a couple of drops of CA on it and went around the edges of the chassis. Use the inner holes to hold the chassis as you do this, then after the CA around the outside has dried, hold the chassis on the outside while you do the battery slots and such. Took me maybe 15 minutes, and I didn't even glue myself to anything!
