Pilot: now that link worked perfectly. Man, that is a nicely laid out, good looking site. Its right up there with Yokomo's site which is also one of the better looking better laid out sites.

If you are having trouble viewing the new site, you may be going through a proxy and or another form of "web cache". Try holding "Ctrl" down and hitting F5.

But just remember.... RcTech.net will always be king

Hey, look at that, Trinity finally got with the program and made a site like I did.

They also banned my name and address. Wonderful. Thanks Trinity, for all the hundreds of dollars I've spent on your stuff.

I think they banned any reference to rctech.net and that is my email address... I sent them a message about it but I highly doubt they will respond.

futureal: they banned a lot of generic email addy's also....

HOTMAIL and so on....That helps on the people using multiple accounts, would be my guess????

One thing to rember is, we have a slightly different crowd here.
We don't have tons & tons of newbies to the sport on here everyday.....

I'm not defending them in anyway...!

There are a few sites I visit daily, this being one of the best ones out there.

Keep up the great work!!!!!

What's with the chat filter on there? It's like you type class and it shows up as cl***. The new site's better than the old, but still gonna be the same people on Tech Talk...

My point was that @rctech.net should not EVER be considered a "free" email address. Yes, I will give the addresses out, but only to qualified users who have another stable account.

What actually started that mess was that Steve Pond at RCCA (or a different RCCA admin, perhaps) identified @rctech.net as a "free" address when they switched to vBulletin. When HPI got their new site up and running, Frank McKinney got the list from RCCA, and I can only assume that Trinity got it from RCCA as well. Since there is no other indication anywhere on the web that @rctech.net is a "free" email service.

As for their restriction of words, it is a problem with the vBulletin filters and how they work. So if they, as you said, choose to put "ass" in the filter, then ANY appearance of "ass" in any word will be starred out.

"Hey, I put a new subwoofer in my car and now it really churns out some great b***!"

haha

Shane, you've done a great job here. I was a ttt junky and after awhile all the trash started ie; deleting threads, handles and stuff. I found your site and have never looked back. Come to find out ALL the guys I race with are on here most every day.

Thanks for a wonderful site and giving us all a nice, clean, friendly site to go to.
