No touring any more for me. My local track is dirt only now. Only street beast runs with my touring car now. Ha ha

I heard from Xray that they might be coming out with a center line battery car, i dont see why, theres nothing wrong with the t2/t3 platform. Team T2C is hopefully gonna be coming out with a new touring car to but other than that im not entirely sure. I was hoping maybe corally would come out with the PHI 10 but then again its like with Xray, theres nothing wrong with the current platform. Just my 2 cents on the subject

yea, but you know how it goes. just because there's nothing wrong with the current doesn't mean there won't be another one

Yeah, Xray and don't forget Tamiya. Tamiya usually comes out with a Worlds version.

There already is a world edition of the 416, and the 416 is their newest car. Its an awesome ride, i turned that fastest lap(track record) in 17.5 with the factory setup on one,He had just built it. I'm an Xray guy but i would definitely recommend a tamyia car.

Honestly, I am getting tired of the same design, slight variation aspect of TC these days. I know it is proven, but there is only so much you can keep changing. I am interested in Xray's new design too. Companies need to keep developing new ideas to keep customers "interested". Maybe that's why the new FF03 from Tamiya caught my attention.

Yeah, mainly rumor and speculation at this point. Right now, the biggest rumor I've heard is a Tamiya 417 is on the horizon and may be hitting shelves sometime next year.

Then there is the CEFX touring car (100%). Josh has made mention of it in the CEFX thread. He plans on making his own car instead of using TOP donor parts.

Then there is the new Xray like everyone has mentioned so far.

And there is the confirmed HB TCX.

dont forget about Team T2C if you all know what that is, Shaun is the owner and i know a guy who drives for him and he is supposed to be in the process of designing it. It gonna be based off of and xray platform except the battery, motor and possibly the servo will be center line. I would be interested to see a prototype of the 417 if there will be one

Being a tamiya fan in all, I wouldn't be surprised if the 417 is just a BL/Lipo optimized chassis for the 1350 weight limit.

They all seem to be like that. From what Hara(hot bodies driver) says, The TCX is pretty much the same as the cyclone just the bulkeds are moved in about 3mm, the electronics are moved inward towards the center of the more, the drivetrain is flipped, and the chassis plate is a little different.
