Noob needs help!! PLEASE
 

Hi, I'm fairly new with R/C's. I just bought a new ezrun 9t brushless motor with ezrun 60A ESC. I installed it to my Tamiya with the ESC in the ch2 of my receiver. I was able to setup my transmitter with the ESC by following the instructions on the manual. My problem is that when now when I turn on the RC, the wheels would go all the way to the left, even when i trim the transmitter all the way to the right, the wheels are still towards the left a little bit. The Throttle is fine, it goes forward, brake and reverse. Another problem I have is when I steer the transmitter to the left, the car would move forward even when I have the throttle on neutral. I'm out of ideas. Please help.

Are you turning the car on before the transmitter? Could be the reason the wheels shoot to the side when powered up. As to the other problem maybe try setting all the steering and throttle trim and endpoints back to neutral, rebind the transmitter and start again. No idea why the car would move forward from steering unless the plugs aren't in the right spots in the receiver. Good luck.

This might be the problem. You need a 35A ESC, to match the 9T motor (3650M), or you need a .5 motor (3650) to match the 60A ESC. At least that's how Hobbywing offers their combo kit.

Did you put the controle horn on while you had the servo on and trimed?. Also if you are using a tamiya esc then you need to set it. First press the red set button on the esc the red light should sart flashing. Press it again this will set the nutral trigger position next pull the trigger all the way down and press the red buton again, last push the trigger all the ay down on full brake/reverse and push the red button and the esc should be set. this should be the same as the intructions.So go grab the bag the esc came in and read the info. hope this helps:tire:

Yeah I have the transmitter on before i turn the car on, its really weird. I tried switching the plugs around so ch1 would be throttle and ch2 would be steer, but car wouldn't go and even if it did, that is just weird to drive.

You know what you're right, i just now realized that the combo i ordered says 35A but in the box is a 9T motor and a 60A ESC. Must be a mistake from the manufacturer cuz the box was sealed. I'll check with them. I'm still gonna see if it runs fine with this. Thanks.

What do you mean by control horn? sorry i'm really new to this. Yeah I did set up the ESC with the transmitter. Before setup the whole car just goes haywire (rapidly turning left and right on its own and car just goes back and forth without pressing anything on the transmitter.) After setup, the throttle is fine but steering is just always to the left and if I steer to the left even, it just makes the car go forward. I'm thinking it may very well be what gt says that I need 35A.

He means the control arm that is on the servo. That is the arm that swings when you turn the steering. Take the servo control arm off of the servo, turn on the radio, turn on the car, reset your steering trim to 0, then put the servo control arm back on the servo so that the wheels are as close to centered as possible. Then you can use the trim to get the wheels the rest of the way to center.

Hi All, That actually did fix the steering problem. While I was doing it, I was thinking to myself, "why didn't i think of that?". As for the throttle problem, I just decided to wiggle the crystal a little bit and it did seem to fix that problem, I hope the problem doesn't come back. As for the ESC, I dont know why they gave me a 60A instead of a 35A but it's working now so I guess it's all good. Thank you all for the help!..

Before putting the horn on the servo, did you zero out your radio trims and actually turn the radio and car on so that the servo can center itself???
