1/12 pan car on unprepped asphalt
Anyone run a 1/12 pan car on unprepped asphalt. I don't have any indoor tracks near me (San Francisco) so I wanted to try a 1/12 in parking lot environment.
Don't know if anyone does this or should I try a Tamiya F104 or just forget it.
I currently use a TC car but wanted to try something different.
Thanks for any reply.

It can be done but depends on how smooth the surface is; very rutted bumpy asphalt with volcano cracks will not be any fun. If you have a nice smooth area you will have no problem once you get the setup sorted.

That's the wonderful thing about this hobby.... you can do whatever the hell you want If you do run it on asphault I would suggest not truing the tires or taking a lil off the top but not much. Keep in mind that at 1/12 scale a 1 inch rock becomes a 12 inch boulder.
