Futab 230/330cr
Hello! We will be reviving our 12scales and i'll only use it in stock.
I do not want to shift my ESC's and wanted to know if these ESC's will work on 4 cells even if they are rated to work at 6-7 cells? Has anybody tried using these in 4 cells? Thanks! Peace and Happy Raing! Lem |
I used a MC230 in my RC12L3 with 4 cells with no problem. I did eventually want a better esc though and decided to replace the MC230 with a GM V8. But to answer your question, yes it will work. :)

I, too, have used a MC230 on four cells with no problem.

It would be better if you use the Futaba MC330cr rather than the 230. I compare these both esc to my tamiya ta03r with 19 turn motor the 230 sudden stops at full throttle while the 330cr just run smoothly at full throttle w/o any problem or sudden stopping..
