Slop in XXX-S steering
Anyone notice this slop in the steering bellcranks of the XXX-s. It seems a little excesive to me. Would I benefit from going to the trinity or dynamite aluminum parts? thanks in advance

You might eliminate flex by going to aluminum but most likely the slop is coming from the ball studs/ballcups. That or you have bushings in the bellcranks that are worn out so there you would need bearings. Also make sure your bellcrank posts are securely tightened to the chassis.

thanks, i'll check that stuff out.

The servo saver on my old G+ was part of the problem, there was a tiny amount of slack in it from new.

Put a rubber band tightly across the two ball studs, that will pull them together removing any slop you have.

I am first going to change out my ballstuds and change out my ball cups to RPM whites. I'll see how that goes then i'll try the rubber band trick too. thanks again.
