Default Personal Transponder Position....

Ok, i have just been able to make some room on my chassis (picked up a micro reciever*futaba 123f or somethign like that, 3 channel in the size of about a quarter) by moving the reciever above the servo. I now have room between my esc and servo thats big enough to put my transponder in, (amb transponder) so i was wondering, if i were to put it in this slot, would it be a good idea? Its a tc3 by the way and the chassis is graphite. I had the transponder above my servo before, and it worked, but im not sure if it would work directly on the graphite.

Cut a slot the size of your transponder into your foam bumper and put it there.

Plus it it a advantage to have your transponder up front of the car.

My friend attached his to the front of the differential case buy passing the screw through one of the holes in the transponder, so he could screw it into his differential case, and it was a sturdy area
