I'm using a Spektrum DX3R with the SR3520 receiver and Futaba S9551 servo. The speedo is brand new.
Do a fresh bind on the receiver then reset the speed control.
I suspect that the receiver fail safe position is the cause of he brief motor run while the Tx and Rx synch up.

Man I am just simply stunned here. As I said before in September I sent in two working and less than 30day old sxx stock spec v2s for the free upgrade that was supposed to take two weeks. I got one back on about November 12th. I finally got around to installing it in my new 1/10 4wd yesterday and it has two problems. First one being they didn't even reinstall the buttons and the second is it doesn't work at all!! I cant believe this. I sent in two good escs and got 1 bad one back three months later. I have yet to even get the second one back and I sent them in the same day. I don't even know what to say at this point.

I just recieved my esc back it works but my problem is the fail safe is not working. The car goes full throttle instead of nuetral when the transmeter is swirched off. I rebinded i reset the esc 2 times and it still goes to full throttle. This is not right and down right unsafe. LRp help!

Default Failsafe...Not an ESC Function.

The failsafe setting issue you are having has nothing to do with the esc. It is a function of your radio and rx. The failsafe is the default throttle and steering position you rx defaults to when signal with transmitter has been lost. I suggest you look up how to reset your failsafe in your radio manual please.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

It sounds like to me that you need to reset your failsafe points. Sometimes when the rx is connecting with your radio the moment delay in this process at powerup causes the rx to go into failsafe (pre-defined travel points for throttle and steering) until it connect to the transmitter.

Give this a try and see if it helps.

Default service

Im in the Uk and service is brill, I returned 3 escs and had them all refitted with the upgrade board. 2 came back fairly quick Other followed soon after .All work fine and seem to be bullet proof. I haven't heard of one instance of a problem or a long delivery time.

I just plugged everything on my 1/12 and I get the flashing blue + alternate red/yellow about 5 seconds after turning it on.

Problem could be wiring connection = okay
It could be sensor wire = changed but same issue.
It could be low voltage on battery = Charged and still same issue.
I tried with a 7.4v 5500 mah battery and it is fine
Back to my 3.7v 1s. flahing light party.

Do I have to set up to be a 1s battery ??
Am I missing someting on the setup ?

Yes, you have to rerun the set up for 1s. I had the same problem when I first plugged it in, but changing the cutout to the 1s setting fixed it. Runs like a charm now.
