Default software

Hi,
just wanted to shoot out a quick question...
what version of the software is installed on the current batch of speedos.
is there a quick and easy way to find out which version is installed?
read a way back but couldn't find anything.

Thanks

It used to be determined by a certain amount of beeps when the speed control was powered up.

Hi Guys,
Just after some help. I was reading through my SXX V2 manual about the "boost" setting and the manual says i can visit the LRP website for factory boost recommendations. I cant find these boost recomendations on the LRP site anywhere. Im just chasing settings for my 10.5.

Thanks

LRP found the linked file to be corrupted, so took it down. Keep watching the site and you will see it linked in the future. Also, please note that LRP has 3 speedos marked SXX. This thread is for the SXX Stock Spec V2. There is also a SXX Competition and a SXX TC Spec.

Default Questions...

Just wanted to know some things about this speedo- before I pick this up, can I

(1) run this speedo in NON-BOOSTED 17.5 & 13.5 classes (1/12th)?
(2) run this speedo in BOOSTED 17.5 & 13.5 classes (1/12th)?
(3) run this speedo in the same 4 classes in a TC?

Thanks for the input guys

davidl,

If you have a SXX StockSpec V2 ESC, then the instructions have the team recommended "Boost" settings on them for on road TC, 1/12 and off road for 10.5, 13.5 and 17.5 BL motors. They also have recommended settings for Torque/feel, (which is mode 2).

There are also settings for X12 BL motors and X11 and other brand BL motors.

JayBee,

Mode 2 and Mode 3 have to be set at zero for blinky/zero timing mode.

Later,

Calvin.

nitro rat,

Find attached a copy of the ESC instructions. They should clarify the settings you can adjust.

Hi all,

I Purchased the New LRP SXX Ver2 StockSpec with the PC Software Update Cable Today, so should Receive it Tomorrow!

As you've all mentioned about the current Software on the Ver2, where is the very Latest '4.4' Software Available to Download onto it?

What Benefit/s does the Latest '4.4' Software give to the Ver2 StockSpec Speedo?....i.e More Power? Run Cooler etc?

Also, which Motor works best with this Speedo?i.e LRP's own X12 or a different Manufacturer like GM etc

Thanks.
