Default Safe to buy from RC-Fans88.com?

Hey forum,

Has anyone bought anything from rc-fans88.com before?

seems like they have the cheapest price for Hobbywing escs on the net.

Please share your experience with them

Yes i have bought quite a few things from them including a few Hobbywing ESC's. My only real complaint has been very slow postage. The send using China Post in Schenzen and compared to Dinball who are ex Hong Kong it is very slow, 14 Days to Australia. I do have one missing item which i have placed a claim in Paypal and Jessica immediately responded with the requested tracking number, even so i will let the claim ride until i have the unit. That did not stop me ordering another ESC though, as you say they are pretty much the cheapest around.

I've ordered 2 seperate hobbywing ESC's from them, usually takes them between 48 and 72 hours to ship and approximately 7 working days to get the items (sent to the UK) however they mark them as a gift, at least they did for my shipments. Overall I was reasonably impressed, I guess using them depends on whether you need something quickly or if you are prepared to wait and save a few 's

Yep, they are not a quickest at posting... But sometimes miracle happens... Ordered one ESC and asked for quick delivery. They proposed DHL with nice price, and I get item in 5 days from payment. From them to Lithuania. Price was better then I can find locally even with DHL delivery

You were lucky because you chose DHL.If you had chose EMS or Singapore Speedpost you sould got it a month after for sure.Speedpost,Chinese EMS and Swiss post are the worst shipping companies ever.I have bad experience with them.As for rcfans-88? the slowest postage ever

I ordered a Brushless for my 1/5th from them back in November.

I paid express post, which was three times more then standard as I wanted the Motor quick.

They didn't bother posting for 9 days after I ordered.

I won't be ordering from them again.

Shipments in transit from Origin:

They do what all chinese jerks do, they issue the tracking number but the parcel is still in their werehouse because they dont have the product. That is how they work. they have 50% of the items they say they have in stock and all others they order them. then if you complain they they throw the cake on your face by telling you that they have send it, "here is the tracking number" thinking that we are fools and we do not understand. Dont believe anything the chinese shops tell you, they are full of shit and they know no english. Everything you write to them is being inserted in a google translator and god knows what they understand..Remember that is not the case on hongkong, they seem to be more responsible than the chineese..

Acknowledged at Transit Centre:

means that they (the courier) receive it that day an they send it. and then you see a huge delay from handover to airline to held from customs. this may be that customs receive it on the 29 (christmas!!) and they say that they receive it on the 7 witch is not bad for holidays.

I bought my 120A Hobbywing from them without a problem. Shipping with EMS is terriably slow, took about 1 month to deliver to West Coast of Canada.

Thats the EMS problem though, and i had no issues at all with rc-fans88 site.

Angry

We had a order come from RC-fans88, there was a esc missing in the package. I understand mistakes happen, but when we received the package over 2 weeks ago, and they have not replied to multiple emails we have sent them, and the phone numbers listed do not work. we are starting to get a little peeved

Looks like ill kiss my HW xerun 150A good bye.

Anyone recommend another place to just buy the esc??
