I'm using the GH front ball diff II. I charge my cells at 3 amps. For the record micro thing, I'm trying to get it to 100 mph, if it'll let me. The rest of the stuff I ordered comes in Tuesday or Wednesday.

it just isnt possible...


the gear ratio u listed on a 10th scale pan car with lots more power, wouldnt even do 70....
and a 10th scale has huge tires compared to it...

your little tiny tire would have to spin so fast there is no way for them to keep from exploding.. it just isnt possible......

i would send your venom speed meter back if i was u, cause it is lying to you

Ok burbs, you have mental problems. If my tires would explode, why haven't they? Why am I asking you, you wouldn't know, obviously. And how would 1/10 scale pan car have more power? I'm using 540 motor, yeah the same that's used in a pan car. And my car's much lighter. And geared alot higher, and that means it can go faster. And it does go faster.

Wow burbs, I've never seen someone be wrong so many times.

1. I've run Mod Pan at approx 70 and soft tires did not explode. I've also seen shots of Mod Pan with speed gun at end of straight showing 70+ and no tires explode - Greens/Pinks. Harder tires should be fine at higher speeds.

Actually, I have seen one tire disintegrate - but I forgot to get the glue all around on the inside. . .

2. ajg - I won't trust a speedo mounted on the car. Before I believe you, I'll want to see it measured by some external agency like a radar gun (get a nice local cop) or a measured distance with timer, both recognized speed measuring methods.

Measured distance - show, in video, measuring of 150 feet. Get two electronic door chime things (like from Rad Shack) and use them as a trigger for a stopwatch. It's not too difficult a project and would be cool. . .

Then it just takes a little algebra to convert to MPH or KPH.

But measuring it on axle or wheel doesn't account for tirespin - which is why they don't use it in NHRA. . .

Yes, I am going as fast as I claim, and boomer's tires haven't exploded, like you said they would. So your wrong there.

I'm not using micro batteries. So your wrong there.

My car is a "purpose built" speed car. So your wrong there.

Have you seen a micro lately? Yeah, it's smaller and lighter. So your wrong there.

And I ask you guys to wait till today when my new stuff is suposed to come in so I can make a new video for you guys, so how out you shut up till I get the video.

147 kph = 88.2 mph or something like that. After looking at the pics, it looks like I'll be buying a pan car!!!!!

As far as AJG is concerned, I am going to wait until his video comes out. Arguing about how fast ( or really how slow) his car is will eat up the main purpose of this thread.

What ever happened to that full carbon fibered chassis HPI had that was in RC car action a while back? What, did they wreck it? If not, I'll buy that!!!!

at least these guys have video to back up ther claims. if you click on videos and scroll to the bottom, they have a 32cell brushless rigger boat- 120 mph- its pretty sick
