I will admit that this thread is incredibly entertaining. I laugh my @ss off whenever he posts. He doesn't know how to solder batts end to end? take apart a stick pack. You'll see how they do it. cmon man. Last time I took apart a Trinity pack, they had the cells soldered together with thin metal foil that was able to fold up between cells as they are stacked end on end.
I agree with the one guy that said that someone might be able to get a micro to do that speed, but this guy certainly can't.
My guess is that he makes it go 10mph then shows the video at 8x speed, if he knows how to do that.

So ajg, which big 1/10th races have you been to before retiring? I think people are still wondering, because if you have enough money to live around $500K homes, then you probably have enough cash to travel to some races in Southern Cal. Also, when are ROAR and NORRCA gonna have micro classes????

Also, I gotta confirm that this is true, and you other guys can help me out.
So let's say I run a 6-cell pack, and reach 60 mph. If I go to 8 cells does that mean I can reach 80 mph???

Your logic is wrong. It would be 120mph. Except that the more votage you add to the motor, the more inefficient it becomes. Plus that pesky coeffient of drag which increases with the square of road speed. If there is x amount of drag at 60mph, it isn't 2x at 120mph, it's 4x.

Personally, I don't really care who believes me. Once we get over the 100MPh mark we will be having the MOD using their radar guns on my 1/10 scale cars.
I am not going to ask them to do until after I reach the 100MPh mark which will be another month or two. I have a lot of tuning to do first.
I just got my new ESC from MTroniks and rebuilding my cars. Hopefully be able to do some testing and tuning before weeks end.
