Here's an HPI Pro FLux at default timing;

And an LRP/Nosram with 2dot timing;

If I run either of those two motors with the ESC anywhere near as high as I have it now, they would melt!

if you place the three sensor so they are in the center of each winding, then that would be zero? if this is the case, position the timing indicate on the end bell reads -10.

If you're right about the -10deg being in the dead center of the stack, then 20deg by default will be the same as most manufactures 0deg, which sounds about right.
Err, does that make sense.

OK, FYI all motors come set at 20*. This is true timing as close as you can get.

I recently got an used Z3R motor and have a weird issue. The motor runs very fast but when under braking, the motor makes a annoying clicking sound.. I've never had or seen a motor do that.... It does have a HT rotor in it running with tekin rs. I get the sound regardless of timing. Any ideas?
