3 Phase Charging - Effective?

I just bought the pulsar 2 today. I don't think it comes with 3 step charging.
Rainbow 10 and rcmodel have it in stock.

if the pulsar comp 2 has it, ill definitely purchase that charger. any idea on when it comes out?

I would be very, very interesting, if he could charge one of his pack's with linear charge and one with the 3-phase thing. Next step: Discharge them on a Eagle CDC or CE Turbo something, which could show some hard numbers. That would actually be a review worth posting on RCTech.net

Since I use the GFX and the Record Breaker.... I might be able to post something here in a couple of days...

a link to the recorf breaker charger or manual download would be nice.Thankx

I experimented in 3 stage charge before. The report at that time is introduced. It translated with translation service.
I performed this test with the EXPERT charger. Pro-Trak is used now. The newest Pro-Trak is because a charge sequence can be studied on various conditions

Kenneth,
I have not done discharge test yet.
However, a good result will come out, since the temperature of a battery does not go up superfluously.

I think that if you use the temperature cut off when charging you will get more mah into the pack (so therefore more mah out). With the new software we should be able to do some studies to verify this. I'm interested in this for running 12th mod where capacity is a greater issue when running lower winds and the punch is not so big an issue.

great report. so based on your experiment the major advantage of 3-phase charging would be faster charge times but cooler batteries at the end. This makes me more interested in 3-phase since I am not an expert driver and having cooler batts would mean longer life. I wonder what the discharge difference between the the two would be.

Great work Kiyano.
I'm very interested in the discharge test...
some considerations: Maybe 3-phase is better for mod, wher capasity matters, while in stock, punch matter... thus we might like them hotter/warmer for stock....???
If we only look at temperature, couldnt we achieve the same with a lower delta peak cut off and/or lower temp. cut off?

Leadfoot,
maybe a month to six weeks, e-mail me if you are interested.
