Default Best Tires For Carpet Traction

I have to build a 4-lb or less rc car for a science project. The car is powered by two 9-volt batteries It needs to climb up a carpeted slope, reach a foot-long plateau on top, and defend or oppose against a car coming up the other side of the slope. Kind of like king of the hill. I am looking for some advice as to which tires would provide me the best traction on this carpet slope, and would appreciate any help that could be provided.

Mini pins would probably be the best.

I'ld also check with the rock climber-guys out there for tips.
Seems to be in their neck of the woods...
