Is 3.77 FDR too much for pro stock motor?

I am not too familiar with gear ratios, but i am soon going to do this epic pro stock motor with FDR of 3.77.
Is that too much for it?

Which motor and how many turns?
A guy at my track uses a FDR of 3.8 with his 17.5T Graupner motor. But that motor has a lot of bottom-end power.

Depending on your track size, you will probably run the brushed motor from 6.7 to 7.4

Which EPIC motor is it? What color is the can?

Shawn.

If the brush hood is purple in colour then I would run the FDR around a 6.8 to 7.0 depending on the size of your track. Our track had a straightaway about 100 feet in length, and I normally ran this motor around 6.88
