R/C tool question
 

Ok my Tamiya Evo IV is on its way from Hong Kong. Now, where can I go to get a good quality tool kit to build this thing. I mean I need everything from digital calipers to high quality hex tools screw drivers.... the works! If you can list some good websites or just give me an idea of the size tools Ill need i would appriciate it.... Newbie :weird:

tamiya carries some awesome tools as in nut drivers, allen wrenches, and scissors, as for a caliper, I don't think you really need it, but if you have to have one, you can get one from like Sears that is Digital and it should be ok, as for tools, definetly Hudy or Tamiya TRF

For digital calipers check out http://www.harborfreight.com they have a few different models including a decent one for 19.99

losi do real good nut and allen driver sets, also the hudy stuff is real good too, if you spend on quality tools now the should last you a long time!!

Lots of manufacters sell them. I bought the Dynamite tool set, 3 for $21 when I could have got that Integy one, 9 for $21, standard and metric. :(

I use the digital calipers from Harbor Freight. Cheap and nice though. Hako soldering iron from Fry's electronics, cheaper for the same iron.
