Pre-Worlds Again? FL State Race At Worlds Track Aug 21-22
There is a Florida State Series (www.fseara.org) Race Scheduled for August 21-22 at the site of the IFMAR Worlds in Kissimmee FL.
Tamiya Japan, Team Xray, Team Losi, Team Schumacher, Team Corally and a few others are flying pro drivers in for this last race before the Worlds.
Because of this FSEARA is waiving the normal 10T ROAR Mod Motor limit for this race only. It will be Open Mod following IFMAR rules.

Here some of the other things.
Option classes: 1/12th mod and 1/10th pan cars(19t) with TC bodies narrow chassis and 4 cells.
You will have to be a current ROAR member. For those out of the region bring your cards. For all others you can get the weekend memberships. Bill Fraden Region 4 director

Adrian-You need to run it by the track to see if they would be interested in using VHT for the FSR and the Worlds....At the recent US Nationals they used VHT twice a day and the track was awesome. Tire wear was very little and the track had a ton of grip. This would be good to have in case those inevitable Florida rains come like they always do.

actually the 1/10 pan class is six cell open stock, with option to run 4 cell 19t with a touring body its an exibetion run. Pluss if 8 guys show and want open mod I am sure we can accomodate so anyone with a pro ten clear off the dust and bring it out.
Open mod would be if requested, other then that it will be six cell stock with GTP body or 19t 4cell with touring body.

Adrian-Another great thing with the VHT was the fact that the track was good to run on 10 minutes after it was sprayed.

bill I understand that but if six guys show up are you going to say no! off course not.

I know . And considering we never mention a mod class I would not have even mentioned it.It's a non class and we are trying to bring it back- Now you want three different types to run. It's hard enough as it is !Still have some new wide Bolink GTP bodies- TOJ,Nissan GTP,Porsche 962 and Mark3 Riley and Scott.

Iknow bill I threw out there to see a response. Remember I am putting on a race in texas. We both have our own phylosiphies on how to revive the class.
Putting the info out there regardless wether its stk, 19t, or mod! It will bring out someone. Hey would you rather them show up or not. lets put the word out there wether 19t, stk, or mod I dont care. just let them show up and see what we get.

lets just run touringcar thats where its at..................thay ran 1/10th pancar at the nats and there was only 13 or 14 cars the class is dead i understand that you guys want to have another class to run but racing is getting to thin as it is.....................

meat head its for fun. touring is where its at yes! but everywhere around the world except this country still runs them and hold a nationals for them with 100+ entries. The reason it died he is because the previous roar president Twrecks (trex)
killed them.
racing entries for all big race venues have died down because touring is expensive so they ventured out to other types of racing. we are trying to bring the people back.
Meat head to you it doesnt mean anything , but 13 cars in a short notice and being way up northwest! thats enough. sit back and watch cant wait to see you running one so I can say isnt touring where its at!
