Default throttle trigger reversed??

Hey,

I got an HPI sprint to sport impreza for christmas! I absolutely love it!!!! I'm just having one little issue with it. When I pull the trigger on the controller towards me the car usually goes forward, now it goes reverse. The same for reverse, when push the throttle away from me the car goes forward. The car is stock and I'm using the remote that came with it. How do I switch it?

Thank you rctori

Did the wires on the motor get reversed somehow?

I havent done anything to it except for unplugging the battery. I also have a Revo 3.3 and and there is a button on the controller for the trigger switch but none on the HPI. I'm still new to this lol. I even looked at the servo to see if there is a switch and only the on/off switch.

There should be 2 small switches on the transmitter. One is for steering the other is for throttle/brake. CH1 is steering and CH 2 is Throttle. They are either on the face (by the steering wheel) or on top ( by the antenna)

Carefully look over the transmitter. Somewhere there should be two switches as JamminSP stated. I've seen these in various places on different radios, sometimes in not so obvious places. On one of my RTR Blazer radios it's located on the end of the right side. One switch is labeled ST (Steering) and the other is labeled TH (Throttle). They each have two positions NOR (Normal) and REV (Reverse).

It might be the speed control, I think some of the auto-setup ones, sense the first throttle input of the trigger and thats what they go off, so if you have your brake on and turn your speed control on, that what it will use for the forward acftion. Best to read your instruction book or google it up.
