While the TRF Shocks are indeed superb, do not discount the Losi shocks for the JRXS. I've never had a problem or leak using them!

Even Xray and AE cars owners are replacing the originals with TRF shocks.
So there's not so much choice for answering.

built a set of TRF's today on my 417, hands down best shocks. and the last lot I built for my 415 years ago, same. cant look at any other shocks the same way after TRF's lol.

Thanks for the replies seems the TRF's are the ones, there are a few different model numbers for the TRF's is there any particular ones to go for?

Another +1 for the TRF's. Hated the hot bodies tcx shock pistons...they were crap til they were replaced with trf 3 holes, then they were fine.

You have it backwards, my friend. That orange doesn't look good with your blue TRF shocks.

I suggest you de-anodize your X-Ray

Tamiya are great but there is one shock out there that I would take over them any day.

Best shock EVER! Basically just a refined and updated version of the old Picco shock. Work a little different from everything else but absolutely brilliant in function, never leak, easy to rebuild and completely consistent.
