Question: what would you include?

What should be included in the perfect app for racing?

A gear chart? Roll out? voltage recorder?

let me hear your thoughts!

48 Views, not a single response! :(

i'm thinking that a gear ratio planner is the most important thing,

followed by some kinda count down device for when to put goo on my tyres..

anyone else??

The things you think that you need are not importand.
you can calculate your own gear chart.
Maybe a lipo checker but the most importand is to check everything before the race like wires and iff your car is ok. so that notting comes loose wile you race.
replace parts wit to much play.

What I wants is an easy to use app that combines Gear It 2 and a Setup Sheet.

1. I should be able to enter U.S. or Metric measurements and calculate rollout.

2. I want to be able to enter non car specific parameters and save that setup sheet. (Front: Camber,Caster,Toe, Springs, Droop, Ride Height...etc Rear:Camber,Toe, Springs, Droop, Ride Height....etc)

With spaces to enter:
Date
Track
Temp
Tires
Tires Sauce
Motor
Rollout
Spur
Pinion

Whatever fields are not filled when they don't apply should not show up when I pull up a saved setup. For example if I fill out a setup sheet and save my setup for my car and it doesn't have adjustable caster so I left it blank. When I go and pull up that setup in the app there would be no mention of caster.

Also allow a space to make notes about the setup

3. ESC Settings sheet. Brand, Model, Turbo, Boost, Drag Brake, Throttle profile, etc.

I should be able to look at it and determine exactly how everything was setup on my car on a specific day.

If you could set that up i'd pay $10 or so for it through the app store. Its worth it to me if its laid out well. It also helps that you don't have to make things vehicle specific if the non applicable parts are not shown if the fields are left blank.
