Holy cow. I haven't cooked one like that in a while. I think the last one was a GM3 when they first came out.

450rwhp, 2900lbs and $95,000 later maybe you could get into the seat of my ride. In a straight line, most likely I can be beat. But turn a 180 at 100+mph and hold on for dear life and see what happens. Also my rollout will get me to 196mph. In a couple of years it should be hitting about 600hp to the wheels.

Hi,

I was thinking sbout call Rod Millen up to see how much a V8 swap from a GS400 would cost......... but then I'd have to rob a few banks. looks like in 06 the IS300 is getting a bigger 6 (V6).
Jason say's Hi back....... and wants to know where's your Kart??????. looking forward to seeing you indoors.

Thanks

Tim... You only had me by a couple of car lengths!!!! I did not have my ETC (power switch) or the e-shift engaged!

Let me know when you wanna line them up again -HA HA .

See ya this weekend if you're racing.

Hey Tony,

We'll be there at 10ish.

When I finish replacing my flex disc and driveshaft, i'll come out and look for you. They both ate themselves a little while ago.

All I can say is, 2nd gear start without any shifting. That's how the run went. I do like the look of your car though and it definately has tons of potential.

Oops, sorry for taking the thread in another direction. I don't run a shottke diode on this motor. There are a few in my DME though.

TimXLB,

Do they make a motor that will pull my fat butt around the track?? I was thinking about buying a Kart a while ago after talking to you and Jason. Right now I am trying to concentrate my efforts in RC and the bimmer. I was thinking about going NA and dropping a M5 4.4l V8 in the car instead of the 3.2l I6. Who knows.

Talk to ya later,

Tim

Tim:

Hi,

Yes they make a motor to haul you around the track with. you can run the same motor as Mini a KT100 in the senior class or the Parailla Lepard in the Touch and Go class.

There is a driver in Mini's class that's over 380 without the Kart (around 150) and is able to turn fast laps. The TaG calss runs about 25 to 27 HP. doesn't need a starter (the KT100 does) and is water cooled.... but the Karts are about 800 to 1000 more than our Karts (front brakes and daul master cylinders and hubs)

any questions about karts call me at home in the AM.

Thanks
