Both places.

This thread is like seeing an old friend.

Crazy to think the first post is a few days short of 10 years ago.

I just came across some old 4mm RDX chassis plates I had. Sure makes me miss that car.

I still carry my torx screwdriver in the toolbox, just because.

This car was a monster on the rug.

If RC had a hall of fame, I think the RDX and TC3 would fight for the first touring car to be inducted.

RDX. Not much to remember about Corally before that, and it's not looking like there is much to talk about right now either . At first I thought " you have to make the TC3 the first in " .. but then you look at the RDX and how much it owned a certain time in RC.... I dunno man it's a tough one.

XXXS for the 3rd spot in

Hmmm...my first TC was a Losi XXX-S, and my second was the Corally RDX. 2 for 3! Now to decide on my newest car...either the TC 6.2 or an XRAY, I am thinking.

I've got the car pulled apart, cleaned, and put back together again and now am putting in the electronics. Is there a trick to getting a brushless motor to fit (nf_ekt, I'm using the setup I bought from you)? My brushed motors have that flat spot that allow them to slide into the rear bulkhead mount, but the brushless motors are completely round. Do I have to trim some material from somewhere? That would suck.

I don't use this car anymore. But when brushless motors first came out. I used this car and had no problems installing Novak motors. Sorry I have no advice to help you

It looks like the end of the motor is getting caught on the carbon fiber lip of the chassis. Since the bulkhead is aluminum, there is no flex in either of the two surfaces to let the motor slide in (and it is a Novak - I've tried two different ones). I feel like the answer is either really simple and I'm an idiot, or it requires some modifications.

For someone other than Juan, it looks like someone may have used a Phi chassis with the original RDX rear bulkheads and motor mount. Perhaps that is causing my interference issues? I remember the guy I got it from saying it had an upgraded chassis.

Dunno..going to need some pics or more details regarding your issue. I have fit Bl motors into an RDX and this weekend at the roar nats I watched an RDX run plenty of laps with a 25.5 .... I think we all want to see you get it together and running but it might require a little more on your end to facilitate this.

He wasn't running a rdx he was running a corally assassin and also he had a motor mount custom made for it at a machine shop prior to the race.
