I think that's the narrowest topdeck I've seen on a sedan yet. This one looks like it's running the standard steering setup, too.

What a beautiful looking car. I try not to get into bench racing too much, but this thing looks dialed.

The new Corally looks alot like the current one - just refined. It'll be interesting if if will be the dual-point steering or the single-point that comes with the car.

Either-way ... can't wait to see it.

(BTW - who else noticed the stack of arms by the battery boxes ... looks like my pit table )

So how long is it going to be until someone creates an adapter for the center steering ball cups in the center? They are WAY too close together and you have to take a ton of material off the ball cups to get them to fit. Team Tamale, can you help out?

The center point steering uses the same stuff as the dual point. They will probably send out both and let the user decide.

My only complaint with the center point steering was the same as or8ital. They are way too close together.

Johnny, how was your tire wear with the centerpoint steering compared to the dual-point?

Did you notice more front tire wear?

That top deck looks way too narrow to keep the car torsionally stiff enough to make the car work good with foam tires on carpet. Hope Corally is planning on a good Carpet Spec version.

With Parma Indigo & Magenta's it was about a .25mm difference front to back at the Gate in Cleveland after the day was over. It was about 4 runs.

Thats about the same witdth as the new one for the RDX now. It looks to be between 3.4 and 4mm like the ones out now.

I know this probably isn't a new idea or thought and I know it wouldn't be cost effective by any means, but you would think manufacturer's would manufacture two totally different platforms one for rubber tires\asphalt and another for foam tires\carpet. Instead of the objective or goal being how do we design the best rubber\foam tire chassis, it would be how do we design the best rubber tire chassis or the best foam chassis and develop the platforms separately. An example would be Tamiya with their belt and shaft platforms being developed separately. Just think of the advances that would be made by manufacturer's if the only objective was to design for just rubber or foam? Who knows, maybe the platforms wouldn't be that different in the end...Just something to make you go hmmm...
