The steel CVDs are way, WAY stronger than the aluminum ones.

Do y'all use the set screw and the e-clips on the rear hubs and c-hubs or just one? Do your hubs bind when you use both?

I just heard someone else mention this the other day. I use both, and haven't noticed any binding, but I guess I'll check again next time I've got the car together.

I use both... as long as the pin is in the center, there is enough room that the e-clips will not bind. I learned after one of my set-screws came loose in a race and the pin started to rub the rim - causing the car to run like it had a bad corner of bearings (hook stearing).

Thats going up to Canada correct? Sometimes it takes longer because of customs and such. It can be different each time.
