well thanks for all the set-up advise thoughout last week

I made many changes to the car which all made a noticeable difference, culminating in my fastest time being nearly 2full laps faster than the previous week and now putting me within striking distance of the 19t fast guy (in fairness it was only my meadiocre driving on the day that held the car up)

Revised set-up for anyone interested

FRONT

30wt oil tamiya 3hole pistons 17lb springs mounted 3rd hole in at the top and all the way out on the bottom

camber links are bottom row 3rd in

front 1 way used

4deg. caster blocks used

1.6deg kick up set (lower mounting positions, rear down/front up)

2 washers behind each of the arm mounts

wishbones shimmed for short wheelbase

REAR

NEW Specilazed motor mount in (I like it)

30wt oil tamiya 3hole pistons 17lb springs, mounted 2nd hole in on the top and using the specialized LONG extensions on the wishbones

camber links 3rd hole in bottom row on the shock tower and 2 hole from the wheel on the uprights

2deg. upright used

medium wheelbase set with the arm shims

arm mounts in the lower holes front and rear but in the high position (no shims behind at all)

Madza 6 shell huge wing

On the whole the car was great for me, but could go loose on the rear if pushed to far (i might try 1 grade softer rear springs next time or possibly moving the shocks in 1 hole at the top for just a touch more stability)

i used sorex 28's pre mounted (should have had 32's as i used these up in the meeting 5races only) and again the track i'm told is high grip.

Yeh well done Rod , looked better. Nearly up there with the fast 19 boys but still behind the "LEGEND" even when he ran a 27t.

2006 ROAR NATS TEST AND TUNE DAYS

CorallyUSA has the track in preparation for the ROAR Asphalt Nats on May 31 and June 1, 2006. Anyone that has a RDX or 12M that will be attending the Nationals can ask questions and get setup help from all the Team Drivers as we test for the Nationals. Stop on by between 9am and 5pm on those days for any questions you may have. Thanks Guys.
