Rod , Having me!!! I think not my friend. If ou are up sunday then bring your bilge to my table and let the LEGEND put it right. Hey did you see me and Justin go out later with stocks , quicker than your time with 19 I do believe , maybe you can use 1 of my stocks
On a side note , Trying to get a set-up for our track from people who have never run there is hard to say the least , the grip levels and adverse corners make the need to change things a little different to other places. The best place to get advise is from is the people who are beating you at that track , so just ask anyone this Sunday .

Let us not forget Rod , I was messing around all day with diffs , 1-ways , and spools , Hey I was even playing with 2 cars so consistancy wasnt my aim. I too had a good weekend and glad you enjoyed and hope to see you this weekend. As for being the 1st time I out-qaulified you Mmmmmm , It sure wont be the last I shall knuckle down with only 1 car this weekend and work on a "nearly" set-up I had and we will see how many seconds or even minutes I out-qaulify you this time. I might even run my 2400's as my 1700 sports pack seems to be fading at 3 minutes.LMFAO

Its all good... Rod , you got to start running 28's and then go onto 32's later on in the day and that will settle your car down. See me Sunday and I will see if I got any you can use , or ask Colin about the ones I let him use indoors , I'm sure there might be some rubber left on them.

Hey Merciless,

Base setup normally is:

Front

17lb spring with 50wt oil and Tamiya 3h pistons
Shocks mounted in 3rd hole in the top and all the way out at the bottom.
Camber links mounted in the bottom row, 2nd hole in.
6 degree caster with lowered roll centre blocks up front to give -1.6 antidive
1.5deg negative camber

Rear

17lb springs ,30wt oil ,Tamiya 3h pistons
Shock mounted in 2nd hole in up top and on the extension on the bottom
Camber links mounted on the lowest hole outer and 2nd hole on the bottom row inner.
Diff just on verge of slipping
2deg hubs with 1 degree of inner toe in.
1.5deg neg camber

Hope that helps
(Oh yeah this is for a flat track, at a more bumpy track I put the front arms level or 1.6 kickup.)

Thanks for that, there were quiet a few bumps so i don't think anti dive on the front would be good, so would you still recommend the 6deg. blocks or would 4deg. be better with alittle kick up ??

Thanks again

Default New "rounded" RDX pistons vs. the classic Tamiya 3 holes

Hi all,

I was trying to figure out the difference in damping between the new "rounded" RDX pistons vs. the classic Tamiya 3 holes with 50W oil front and 30W on the rear.

The point is that I was not able to find a reportable notice..

Does sombody has experience on this???

tanks in advance ...and sorry for starting the "avalanche" abou the new arms/hubs

cheers

Pedro

Yeah if you are not going with the anti-dive i would go to 4 degrees, if you then suffer from lack of turn in go down to 2 degrees.
