Thumbs up Charity Asphalt Race

Just to let any of the Corally guys who want to run an asphalt race....there is a Charity race in Parkersburg, WV on the 29th of April....it is a one day race and being done for a good cause. So far some of the Team eXpress drivers are going as well as guys on our shop team and others from the western Pa area...come on out and have a good time and race for a worthy cause....the charity is for a woman who is paralyzed from an accident and proceeds will help...

Thanks,

Jim

It's hard to help without knowing what your current set-up is.

Got my RDX tonight, why does it come with a pre-installed thrust assembly and then an extra? Whats the difference? Is the other just an extra?

I think it's just an extra. I used the pre installed thrust bearings for almost an entire season. The trick is to take them out again and pack it with Associated or Much More racing black grease. Then use Associated silcone grease on the diff balls. My diffs stayed butter smooth for about a month of practice, plus a week of hard racign at carpet nationals. I am using ceramic diff balls though.

Less traction compound on the right side for starters.

Free up the car......

lean in the shocks, raise the rear roll center, shorten camber links, less rear toe, add front toe out, smaller pistons, thicker oil.

A few options for ya.

Anybody make something that covers the bottom of the chassis for Asphalt racing? Kind of paranoid about scratching the chassis at my first Asphalt race . Something sort of thick, would like to stay away from a little sheet of "sticker". Was thinking I could get a small sheet of lexan (dont know where I'd find any) or some type of plastic and cut it out to the chassis, coutnersink a couple holes in it and screw it on through a couple of the screws in the bulkheads. Any other ideas?

Team Associated, in the past, sold a chassis protector sheet.
