Since we are discussing pitch, is either 48p or 64p any more efficient then the other? I know that 64p is better for stock because of the closer gear ratio changes, but it seems that alot of pro cars are coming with 48p as of late. Any reason?

I don't know if I Should upgrade my RDX with a 4mm Chassis and 3.4mm Upperdeck or buy a New Carpet Spec.

Hey, Jeff...does this mean they are 80% hard? Stiffer than the 75s?

The 20% arms are the softest of the three. IT has 20% Graphite and the rest is plastic.

The 50% are half and half Graphite and plastic

The 75% arms are 75% graphite and 25% plastic

The 75% is the X-Hard and the stiffest that is offered.

The 4mm chassis is truly a pice of art and I am happy to run it-but dont know that its necessary except in the highest bite (Snobirds, Nats, HC,Champs, Etc.). I would buy the 3.4 top deck and be done with it. I was even thinking of running the stock top plate with my 4mm chassis for club racing. Dont know if I'd feel it though..

Now if you are asking which parts tend to break...same as all the other cars. Arms, Steering knuckles and shock towers are things I have broken. But only after a GOOD LICK! But other than those I haven't broken anything else.

Just to clarify further, the 4mm chassis does not come with the carpet spec car either. If you already ave an RDX, it would be much cheaper to upgrade it to a Carpet Spec car (even if you include the cost of the 4mm chassis) than to buy a new carpet spec car.
